Jonathan Landau to take over as CEO of MOVU effective March 1.
Zurich, February 23, 2023 – Jonathan Landau will take over as CEO of MOVU as of March 1, 2023. He succeeds Simone Kühn, who was with the company for more than seven years.
Jonathan Landau is joining MOVU as the company’s new CEO. He previously worked at Neue Zürcher Zeitung, where he was responsible for the media company’s digital product portfolio. Before that, he held digital leadership roles in various industries, including at The Adecco Group and Tutti.ch, where he was COO from 2011 to 2018.
“I look forward to working with the MOVU team to further develop the company’s strategy and drive our growth as the leading platform in the Swiss moving market. I would like to thank the board of directors for the trust they have placed in me,” says Jonathan Landau.
Landau succeeds Simone Kühn. She has worked at MOVU since 2015, and has served as CEO since 2020. “I would like to thank all employees, my management team and the board for the great cooperation and support, and I wish Jonathan success in his new role. I now look forward to a sabbatical, after which I will tackle a new challenge with fresh drive,” says Simone Kühn.
“Over the past years, Simone successfully led MOVU through the Covid pandemic. I would like to thank her for her great work. In Jonathan, we gain a leader with great experience in the digital industry. He has already built several digital platforms and led them to success. He therefore brings the necessary tools to successfully lead MOVU into the next phase,” comments Urs Bienz, CFO of Baloise in Switzerland and chairman of the board of directors of MOVU.
MOVU is the largest relocation platform in Switzerland. Since its founding in 2014, MOVU has supported more than 55,000 customers in moving. MOVU offers its customers a relaxed moving experience while bringing transparency to the Swiss moving market. The Zurich-based company has been part of Baloise since 2017.
